Kejeik product samples were collected from two different locations in Sudan including Singah city (Blue Nile) and Kusti city (White Nile). The contents of protein, moisture, ash, fat, crude fiber and carbohydrates varied considerably and ranged between 63.52-78.06, 5.37-6.69, 5.78-11.8, 9.04-16.13, 0.55-1.34 and 0.59-1.61% respectively, in the various Kejeik samples. However, the production area has a non-significant effect in most of the chemical components. All Kejeik samples contained…

Proximate analyses and mineral composition of dried salted roes of hake (Merluccius merluccius) and ling (Molva molva) were determined. Both roes contained a significant amount of protein (39.1 and
Quality Characteristics of Dried Fish Obtained From Eldeim Area, Central Sudan
TLDR
High microbial load was detected in raw fishes indicating that their quick spoilage at ambient temperature, and the presence of coliforms, staphylococci and salmonella indicates that the raw fish handling is not safe, while most of the examined dried fish products were devoid of pathogenic bacteria.
Metals (major, essential to non-essential) composition of the different tissues of three demersal fish species from İskenderun Bay, Turkey
TLDR
The concentrations of trace metals in fish samples indicated that S. lascaris was more contaminated than were other fish species, followed by L. budegassa and T. lucerna, and consumption of these species from this region is not likely to pose a threat for human health.

Differentiation of cultured and wild sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax): total lipid content, fatty acid and trace mineral composition
TLDR
Cultured and wild sea bass may be differentiated using total lipid content, fatty acid proportions and trace mineral compositions and these differences may be attributed to the constituents of the diet of the fish.
Proximate composition and mineral contents in aqua cultured sea bass (dicentrarchus labrax), sea bream (sparus aurata) analyzed by icp-ms
TLDR
There were significant differences between moisture, fat and ash contents of the two species and Sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, zinc and iodine values for sea bass and sea bream were significantly different.
