The effect of addition of varying concentrations of certain inorganic compounds in selected media upon growth and pigment elaboration ofEidamella deflexa (Berk.)Benjamin was studied in submerged culture. Preliminary experiments were performed to establish approximate optimum ranges of certain inorganic compounds.
