Numerical simulation was adopted to study the chemical stripping process in an annular resid fluid catalytic cracking (RFCC) stripper coupling Eulerian model as well as desorption, thermal cracking and catalytic cracking models. Solid volume fraction distributions and species contents in the gas oil along the stripper were investigated.
