The two-dimensional natural convection of a stratified heat-generating fluid for the different regimes of cooling at the upper boundary in a geometric domain similar to the vessel lower head is numerically investigated. The manifold of cooling regimes at the upper boundary may be taken into account by means of boundary conditions for temperature in the general form, namely, mixed-type boundary conditions.
