Numerical results for the two-dimensional random-bond three-state Potts model.
@article{Picco1996NumericalRF, title={Numerical results for the two-dimensional random-bond three-state Potts model.}, author={Picco}, journal={Physical review. B, Condensed matter}, year={1996}, volume={54 21}, pages={ 14930-14933 } }
We present results of a numerical simulation of the 3-state Potts model with random bond, in two dimension. In particular, we measure the critical exponent associated to the magnetization and the specific heat. We also compare these exponents with recent analytical computations.

We investigate and contrast, via entropic sampling based on the Wang–Landau algorithm, the effects of quenched bond randomness on the critical behavior of two Ising spin models in 2D. The random bond…

We report results from a Wang–Landau study of the random bond square Ising model with nearest-neighbor (Jnn) and next-nearest-neighbor (Jnnn) antiferromagnetic interactions. We consider the case R =…
Monte Carlo study of the triangular Blume-Capel model under bond randomness.

- 2012
The results verify previous renormalization-group calculations on the Blume-Capel model with disorder in the crystal-field coupling and find evidence that, the second-order transition emerging under bond randomness from the first-order regime of the pure model, belongs again to the same universality class.

These lectures will probably look too elementary to experts in disordered systems. It will perhaps be more appropriate as an introduction to this field for conformai field theorists.
