We review methods used in recent works for constructing handlebody solutions of Einstein's equations in 2+1 dimensions. Additionally, we provide a Mathematica package for computing the action and the boundary moduli of these solutions in a canonical conformal frame.

Holographic partition functions and phases for higher genus Riemann surfaces

We describe a numerical method to compute the action of Euclidean saddle points for the partition function of a two-dimensional holographic CFT on a Riemann surface of arbitrary genus, with constant

Black Hole Thermodynamics and Riemann Surfaces

We use the analytic continuation procedure proposed in our earlier works to study the thermodynamics of black holes in 2+1 dimensions. A general black hole in 2+1 dimensions has g handles hidden

Black Holes and Wormholes in 2+1 Dimensions

Vacuum Einstein theory in three spacetime dimensions is locally trivial, but admits many solutions that are globally different, particularly if there is a negative cosmological constant. The

Holography and Riemann surfaces

We study holography for asymptotically AdS spaces with an arbitrary genus compact Riemann surface as the conformal boundary. Such spaces can be constructed from the Euclidean AdS_3 by discrete

The Large-N Limit of Superconformal Field Theories and Supergravity

We show that the large-N limits of certainconformal field theories in various dimensions includein their Hilbert space a sector describing supergravityon the product of anti-de Sitter spacetimes,

Holography and Wormholes in 2+1 Dimensions

We provide a holographic interpretation of a class of three-dimensional wormhole spacetimes. These spacetimes have multiple asymptotic regions which are separated from each other by horizons. Each

Anti-de Sitter space and holography

Recently, it has been proposed by Maldacena that large $N$ limits of certain conformal field theories in $d$ dimensions can be described in terms of supergravity (and string theory) on the product of

Generalizations of the Black Hole geometry of Bañados, Teitelboim and Zanelli (BTZ) are presented and a procedure to construct n black holes with angular momentum (for n ≥ 4) is given.

Multiboundary Wormholes and Holographic Entanglement

The AdS/CFT correspondence relates quantum entanglement between boundary conformal field theories and geometric connections in the dual asymptotically anti-de Sitter spacetime. We consider entangled

The torus operator in holography

A bstractWe consider the non-local operator T$$ \mathcal{T} $$ defined in 2-dimensional CFTs by the path integral over a torus with two punctures. Using the AdS/CFT correspondence, we study the
