New data on the status of Buteo albigula in Argentina Patagonia. We list new records of B. albigula in Nahuel Huapi National Park, and neighboring regions (Argentine Patagonia). Data show that the species is more common thas previously thought, perhaps because it is poorly know and hard to observe. B albigula is found in forested areas and its survival is cleary tied to that one of the forest in Argentine Patagonia and elsewhere.
The White-throated Hawk (Buteo albigula) is distributed from Venezuela and Colombia to Chile and Argentina (del Hoyo et al. 1994, de la Peña & Rumboll 1998), with preference for the temperate

Aplomado Falcon abundance and distribution in the northern Chihuahuan Desert of Mexico
Because Aplomado Falcons are associated with grassland communities, continued degradation of Chihuahuan Desert semidesert grasslands will continue to influence their distribution.
Forest-specialist raptors of the temperate forests of southern South America: a review
We review the published information on the raptor species present in the temperate forests of southern South America, focusing our efforts in the four forest-specialist species, that is,
Nesting territory characteristics of a migratory South American forest hawk, the White-throated Hawk (Buteo albigula) (Aves: Accipitridae), in temperate rainforest remnants of Araucanía, southern Chile
During four successive breeding periods (2007–11) we characterized the nesting territories of the white-throated hawk (Buteo albigula) in southern Chile. Territories were located in mountainous areas
Prey of White-throated Hawks (Buteo albigula) in the southern temperate forest of Argentina
The results indicate that accurate determination of the diet of White-throated Hawks requires more than one method of identifying prey, and that para una determinacion ajustada of the importancia proporcional of the taxa of insectos and vertebrados in the ecologia trofica of esta especie, deberia considerarse el uso combinado of the tres metodos propuestos.
In the Cory's Shearwater (Calonectris diomedea) of Selvagem Grande, "two-egg clutches" represented 0.52% of the total number of clutches. "Two-egg clutches" were found principally in attractive nests
