SummaryThe 2p-1s, 3d-2p, 3p-2s, 2s-2p, 3p-1s and 3d-1s muonic X-ray transitions in208Pb have been used to determine the parameters of a spherical Fermi charge distribution and to deduce the nuclear polarization of the 1s, 2s and 2p muonic levels.
