We present a detailed study of nuclear corrections in the deuteron (D) by performing an analysis of data from deep inelastic scattering off proton and D, dilepton pair production in $pp$ and pD interactions, and W^+- and Z boson production in pp and p pbar collisions. In particular, we discuss the determination of the off-shell function describing the modification of the parton distribution functions in bound nucleons in the context of global QCD fits. Our results are consistent with the ones…
Nuclear effects in the deuteron and global QCD analyses
We report the results of a new global QCD analysis which includes deep-inelastic e/μ scattering (DIS) data off proton and deuterium, as well as Drell-Yan lepton pair production in proton-proton and
Deuterium scattering experiments in CTEQ global QCD analyses: a comparative investigation
Experimental measurements in deep-inelastic scattering and lepton-pair production on deuterium targets play an important role in the flavor separation of u and d (anti)quarks in global QCD analyses

We discuss a hybrid model of the proton and neutron inelastic structure functions which incorporates both the partonic and the nucleon resonance structures and applicable in a wide region of the
The role of nuclear corrections on the structure function and the EMC-ratio of deuteron
Abstract. We investigate the EMC effect in the deuteron nucleus using the quark exchange formalism and the harmonic-oscillator shell model. We first calculate the parton distribution functions (PDFs)
Examining the EMC effect using the F2n neutron structure function
The persistently mysterious deviations from unity of the ratio of nuclear target structure functions to those of deuterium as measured in deep inelastic scattering (often termed the ``EMC effect'')
A new study of the EMC Effect using the $F_2^{n}$ neutron structure function.
The persistently mysterious deviations from unity of the ratio of nuclear target structure functions to those of deuterium as measured in deep inelastic scattering (often termed the "EMC Effect")
Strange and non-strange distributions from the collider data
We check the stability of the ABMP16 fit with respect to modifications of quark PDFs suggested in the recent literature: the strange sea enhancement and a positive non-vanishing $d/u$ ratio at $x \to
What does kinematical target mass sensitivity in DIS reveal about hadron structure?
We study the role of purely external kinematical approximations in inclusive deep-inelastic lepton--hadron scattering within QCD factorization, and consider factorization with an exact treatment of
