Novel compact ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) using stub-loaded multiple-mode resonator (MMR) is presented in this letter. The MMR is constructed by loading three open stubs in a uniform-impedance resonator, i.e., one stepped-impedance stub at the center and two uniform-impedance stubs at the symmetrical side locations.
