A review of the genera Spinohirasea Zompro, 2001 and Andropromachus Carl, 1913 is provided. Spinohirasea Zompro, 2001 has erroneously been synonymised with Spiniphasma Chen & He, 2000. The latter genus is shown to be a junior synonym of Andropromachus Carl, 1913 (syn. nov.) and consequently Spinohirasea Zompro is re-established as a valid genus (stat. rev.).
