In the course of investigations on tile succession of fungi colonizing the pruning cuts of tea (Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Ki)NTZE) very often an interesting Tuberculariaceous fungus was isolated from the cut ends of the annual pruned tea bushes in the Tocklai Experimental Station campus and in many instances it was found associated with Pestalotiopsis theae (SAw.)
