The role of dopamine transporter imaging in the diagnosis of corticobasal syndrome (CBS) is unclear. In the largest clinical study so far, Cilia et al. [1] presented data from 36 patients with clinically probable corticobasal degeneration (CBD) with [I]FP-CIT (CIT-SPECT) and compared the results to patients with Parkinson’s disease and healthy controls.
