We present a nonradioactive in siru hybridization (ISH) protocol for detection of mRNAs in rat liver encoding for three peroxisomal proteins: catalase and urate oxidase as representatives of high-level abundance mRNAs and trifunctional protein (PH) as that of low-level abundance mRNAs.
