We propose new tests for two-group comparisons of repeated measures of a response where the repeated measures might be obtained at arbitrary time points that differ over individuals. The tests are almost U-statistics in that the kernel contains some unknown parameters that need to be estimated from the data. Our methods are designed for settings in which response means of one group are strictly greater than the response means of the other group. The tests do not make any assumptions regarding…
Discriminant analysis for longitudinal data with application in medical diagnostics
TLDR
This dissertation compares two model selection criteria for determining the most appropriate univariate linear mixed model structure for each group and quantifies the corresponding bias of an incorrect decision, and introduces the R package longQDA for executing quadratic discriminant analysis with longitudinal data.
Recursive partitioning for monotone missing at random longitudinal markers.
TLDR
A statistical method is described that accommodates a large set of genetic or other covariates and a longitudinal response and allows longitudinal measurements to be monotone missing at random by making use of inverse probability weights.
Classification of therapy resistance based on longitudinal biomarker profiles.
TLDR
Simulations showed that the selection of mixed models for the estimation of the group-specific discriminant rule parameters should be based on BIC, rather than on the best performance measure, especially with increasing length of the profiles and for more complex models with random slopes.
Recursive partitioning of resistant mutations for longitudinal markers based on a U-type score.
TLDR
A recursive partitioning method to correlate high-dimensional viral sequences with repeatedly measured outcomes is developed and is flexible enough to apply to a broad range of problems involving longitudinal outcomes.

TLDR
The LOTCA is a suitable instrument for measuring cognitive abilities and visual perception in people with intellectual disabilities and significant correlations between participants' performance on the Pictorial IQ test and disability level and scores on the LOTCA are found.
The Use of Technology in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Balance Assessment
TLDR
The BRU provided a reliable and valid measure for measuring the sensory contributions to postural control for healthy persons and people with vestibular disorders and was able to discriminate age and disease effect on balance.

Combining dependent tests with incomplete repeated measurements
SUMMARY In comparing the effectiveness of two treatments, repeated measurements of the same characteristic are often taken under two or more distinct conditions for each experimental subject. A
Analysis of incomplete repeated measurements with dependent censoring times
SUMMARY A frequently encountered complication in repeated-measurements data analysis is that a substantial number of subjects drop out of the study. In this paper, several conceptually simple methods
