PURPOSE To characterize and model the disposition of paclitaxel in humans and define a pharmacodynamic relationships between paclitaxel disposition and its toxicity and efficacy. PATIENTS AND METHODS Paclitaxel pharmacokinetics were studied in 55 courses of therapy in 30 patients.
