The suitability of noncovalently bilayer-coated capillaries for the analysis of proteins by capillary electrophoresis (CE) at medium pH was investigated. Fused-silica capillaries were coated simply by successively flushing with a polybrene (PB) and a poly(vinyl sulfonate) (PVS) solution.
