Recently Eric Opdam [O2] in the differential case and then Ian Macdonald [M3] in the difference q, t-setting introduced remarkable orthogonal polynomials. In contrast to major known families they linearly generate the space of all (non-symmetric) polynomials. Their meaning still needs to be clarified. At the present time we believe in their importance mainly because they are eigenfunctions of the differential [C4,C5] and difference [C1,C2] Dunkl operators.
