Abstract We estimate the non-perturbative power-suppressed corrections to heavy flavour fragmentation and correlation functions in e + e − annihilation, using a model based on the analysis of one-loop Feynman graphs containing a massive gluon. This approach corresponds to the study of infrared renormalons in the large- n f limit of QCD, or to the assumption of an infrared-finite effective coupling at low scales. We find that the leading corrections to the heavy quark fragmentation function are…

Abstract We study perturbative and non-perturbative aspects of heavy-quark fragmentation into hadrons, emphasizing the large- x region, where  x is the energy fraction of the detected hadron. We
On the quark distribution in an on-shell heavy quark and its all-order relations with the perturbative fragmentation function
I present new results on the quark distribution in an on-shell heavy quark in perturbative QCD and explore its all-order relations with heavy-quark fragmentation. I first compute the momentum
Radiative and semi-leptonic B-meson decay spectra: Sudakov resummation beyond logarithmic accuracy and the pole mass
The inclusive spectra of radiative and semi-leptonic B-meson decays near the endpoint is computed taking into account renormalons in the Sudakov exponent (Dressed Gluon Exponentiation). In this

We compare QCD theoretical predictions for heavy flavoured mesons fragmentation spectra in e+e− annihilation with data from CLEO, BELLE and LEP. We include several effects in our calculation:
Power-suppressed effects in heavy quark fragmentation functions

This talk summarizes the results of a phenomenological analysis of heavy quark fragmentation data published by the CLEO and BELLE collaborations at \sqrt{s} = 10.6 GeV and by the LEP collaborations
Perturbative and Non-Perturbative Issues in Heavy Quark Fragmentation
We review the state-of-the-art of our understanding of heavy quark fragmentation. Recent e^+e^- data for B mesons are compared to the most up-to-date theoretical predictions, and the need for
Hard probes in heavy ion collisions at the LHC: heavy flavour physics
We present the results from the heavy quarks and quarkonia working group. This report gives benchmark heavy quark and quarkonium cross sections for $pp$ and $pA$ collisions at the LHC against which

Abstract We present the results of a next-to-leading order QCD calculation of the fragmentation function for heavy quarks. Our formalism can be used to obtain the next-to-leading order inclusive
