This article describes a non-intrusive QoS (quality of service) monitoring method for realtime telecommunication services. The key point of this method is that the invalid packet ratio and the invalid frame ratio are introduced to represent the factors affecting the speech and video qualities, respectively. Moreover, we can estimate multimodal quality by considering the individual qualities and their interaction.
