An enzymeless biosensor, based on electrodeposition of overoxidized polypyrrole nanofiber onto pencil graphite electrode and modified with cobalt(II) phthalocyanine tetrasulfonate (CoPcTS), was investigated in this study. CoPcTS showed electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of glucose in alkaline solution.
