Non-electrolyte transport in brush border membrane vesicles (BBMV), basolateral membrane vesicles (BLMV) and in viable cells isolated from the proximal convoluted tubule (PCT) of the rabbit kidney were measured by rapid filtration and stopped-flow light scattering techniques.
