BACKGROUND Non-dipper pattern, characterized by diminished nocturnal decline in blood pressure (BP), is associated with an increase in cardiovascular events. Carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity (CF-PWV) has been accepted as the gold standard measurement of arterial stiffness.
