Two conjoining fragments of a Roman tegula (pi. LXI) were found in 1965 during excavation at Tripontium (Cave's Inn Farm, Churchover, Warwickshire). A graffito of at least four lines, now incomplete, had been incised with a nib-like point while the clay was still damp. It was published in 1966 by Mr. R. P.
