A scale (1 ft=1 m) model of a German coffered ceiling [E. Buchta, ‘‘Noise Control Study of a Light and Air Permeable Coffered Ceiling at an MG‐Range in Northeim,’’ Institute for Noise Control, Dusseldorf, Germany (1985)] and three variations were designed, built, and tested at CERL.
