Nmr Microscopy : Static and Dynamic Applications

Abstract

By scaling down the receiver and gradient coils, it is possible to achieve resolution below 0.1 mm in NMR imaging. The intrinsic limits to resolution in NMR microscopy are considered along with the effects of molecular self-diffusion and magnetic susceptibility inhomogeneity. Examples of microscopic applications are reviewed. Among the contrast schemes… (More)
