Nitrosyl complexes of the iron(III) forms of myoglobin, human hemoglobin, Glycera dibranchiata hemoglobins (Hbm and Hbh), and model iron(II) and iron(III) synthetic porphyrins including octaethylporphyrin (OEP) have been prepared.
