Dark-operative protochlorophyllide reductase (DPOR) in bacteriochlorophyll biosynthesis is a nitrogenase-like enzyme consisting of L-protein (BchL-dimer) as a reductase component and NB-protein (BchN-BchB-heterotetramer) as a catalytic component.
