Increased soil pollution with heavy metals, organic and inorganic pollutants due to various human and natural activities has led to a growing need to address environmental contamination. Pollution of the biosphere with toxic metals and other organic and inorganic pollutants has accelerated dramatically since the beginning of the industrial revolution.
