Nitric oxide (NO) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFalpha) play important roles in the pathogenesis of liver disease during acute inflammation. The present study was designed to elucidate the effect of NO pre-exposure on TNFalpha-induced hepatotoxicity.
