The contributory role of nitric oxide (NO) on tumour growth and metastasis was evaluated in a murine mammary tumour model. NO synthase (NOS) protein expression levels were examined in spontaneously arising C3H/HeJ mammary adenocarcinomas and respective lung metastases.
