This study evaluated nickel (Ni) speciation in the presence of different fractions (humic acid (HA), fulvic acid (FA)) and sources (natural sediment, Suwannee River, peat moss) of dissolved organic matter (DOM) at Ni concentrations toxicologically relevant to the freshwater amphipod, Hyalella azteca.
