Earlier we indicated that neutrophilic invasion into cerebral parenchyma is an important step in rat cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and the production of chemotactic factors, cytokine-induced neutrophil chemoattractant (CINC) precede the neutrophilic invasion.
