  • From the type section of the Umzamba Formation in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa 37 gastropod species are described; 11 of these are new species, five are described in open nomenclature. Two new genera are introduced: Schizofusus gen. nov. (higher Caenogastropoda) for a shell resembling Schizobasis but having a rounded basal slope and a straight siphonal canal of moderate length, and Muteluma gen. nov.
