We review recent progress in the construction and classification of six-dimensional (1,0) superconformal models with non-abelian tensor fields. Here we solve the generalized Jacobi identities which are required for consistency of the non-abelian vector/tensor gauge system and we present a large class of explicit examples.

Brane solitons of (1, 0) superconformal theories in six dimensions with hyper-multiplets
We solve the Killing spinor equations of six-dimensional (1, 0) superconformal theories which include hyper-multiplets in all cases. We show that the solutions preserve 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8Expand
Six-dimensional (1,0) superconformal models and higher gauge theory
We analyze the gauge structure of a recently proposed superconformal field theory in six dimensions. We find that this structure amounts to a weak Courant-Dorfman algebra, which, in turn, can beExpand
Construction of 6D supersymmetric field models in N=(1,0) harmonic superspace
Abstract We consider the six-dimensional hypermultiplet, vector and tensor multiplet models in ( 1 , 0 ) harmonic superspace and discuss the corresponding superfield actions. The actions for free ( 2Expand
The tensor hierarchy simplified
A compact formulation of the field-strengths, Bianchi identities and gauge transformations for tensor hierarchies in gauged maximal supergravity theories is given. A key role in the construction isExpand
An M5-Brane Model
We present an action for a six-dimensional superconformal field theory containing a non-abelian tensor multiplet. All of the ingredients of this action have been available in the literature. We bringExpand

Six-dimensional superconformal couplings of non-abelian tensor and hypermultiplets
A bstractWe construct six-dimensional superconformal models with non-abelian tensor and hypermultiplets. They describe the field content of (2, 0) theories, coupled to (1, 0) vector multiplets. TheExpand
Duality-symmetric actions for non-Abelian tensor fields
We construct the duality-symmetric actions for a large class of six-dimensional models describing hierarchies of non-Abelian scalar, vector and tensor fields related to each other by first-orderExpand
Six-Dimensional Superconformal Field Theories from Principal 3-Bundles over Twistor Space
We construct manifestly superconformal field theories in six dimensions which contain a non-Abelian tensor multiplet. In particular, we show how principal 3-bundles over a suitable twistor spaceExpand
Non-Abelian tensor hierarchy in (1,0) D=6 superspace
A bstractWe present a set of constraints on superfield strengths of the non-Abelian p-form potentials in D=6 (1,0) superspace which reproduces, as their selfconsistency conditions, the equations ofExpand
