This paper continues the investigation of solvability of product-type systems of difference equations, by studying the following system with two variables: zn = αza n−1w b n−2, wn = βw c n−3z d n−2, n ∈N0, where a, b, c, d ∈ Z, α, β ∈ C \ {0}, w−3, w−2, w−1, z−2, z−1 ∈ C \ {0}. It is shown that there are some important cases such that the system cannot be solved by using our previous methods.
