We find a class of charged black hole solutions in third-order Lovelock Gravity. To obtain this class of solutions, we are not confined to the usual assumption of maximal symmetry on the horizon and will consider the solution whose boundary is Einstein space with supplementary conditions on its Weyl tensor. The Weyl tensor of such exotic horizons exposes two chargelike parameter to the solution. These parameters in addition with the electric charge, cause different features in comparison with… Expand

Thermodynamics of asymptotically flat charged black holes in third order Lovelock gravity
We present a new class of asymptotically flat charge static solutions in third order Lovelock gravity. These solutions present black hole solutions with two inner and outer event horizons, extremeExpand
Lovelock black holes with nonmaximally symmetric horizons
We present a new class of black hole solutions in third-order Lovelock gravity whose horizons are Einstein space with two supplementary conditions on their Weyl tensors. These solutions are obtainedExpand

We investigate some properties of n( ≥ 4)-dimensional spacetimes having symmetries corresponding to the isometries of an (n − 2)-dimensional maximally symmetric space in Lovelock gravity under theExpand
Thermodynamics of Rotating Charged Black Branes in Third Order Lovelock Gravity and the Counterterm Method
We generalize the quasilocal definition of the stress energy tensor of Einstein gravity to the case of third order Lovelock gravity, by introducing the surface terms that make the actionExpand

Thermodynamic and gravitational instability on hyperbolic spaces
We study the properties of anti‐de Sitter black holes with a Gauss-Bonnet term for various horizon topologies ( k50,61) and for various dimensions, with emphasis on the less well understood k521Expand
Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet metrics: black holes, black strings and a staticity theorem

Thermodynamics of Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes and conformal field theories
We study the thermodynamics of four-dimensional Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes both in the canonical and the grand-canonical ensemble. The stability conditions are investigated, and the complete phaseExpand
Static solutions with nontrivial boundaries for the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory in vacuum
The classification of a certain class of static solutions for the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet theory in vacuum is performed in d{>=}5 dimensions. The class of metrics under consideration is such that theExpand
