Abstract We study capability of the ILC beam dump experiment to search for new physics, comparing the performance of the electron and positron beam dumps. The dark photon, axion-like particles, and light scalar bosons are considered as new physics scenarios, where all the important production mechanisms are included: electron-positron pair-annihilation, Primakoff process, and bremsstrahlung productions. We find that the ILC beam dump experiment has higher sensitivity than past beam dump… Expand

Search for axion-like particles with electron and positron beams at KEK Linac
We propose a fixed-target experiment to search for Axion-like particles (ALPs) coupling to photons, which utilizes electron and positron beams available at KEK Linac. The sensitivity to ALP isExpand

Beam dump experiment at future electron–positron colliders
Abstract We propose a new beam dump experiment at future colliders with electron ( e − ) and positron ( e + ) beams, BDee, which will provide a new possibility to search for hidden particles, likeExpand
Searching for new light particles at the international linear collider main beam dump
We perform a feasibility study of a beam dump experiment at the International Linear Collider (ILC). To investigate the sensitivity to new light particles at the experiment, we consider models forExpand
Leptophilic gauge bosons at ILC beam dump experiment
We study the prospects of searching for leptophilic gauge bosons (LGBs) at the beam dump experiment using e± beams of International e+e− Linear Collider (ILC). We consider LGBs in association ofExpand
Probing leptophilic dark sectors at electron beam-dump facilities
Medium-energy electron beam-dump experiments provide an intense sources of secondary muons. These particles can be used to search for muon-coupling light dark scalars that may explain the $(g-2)_\mu$Expand
ALPtraum: ALP production in proton beam dump experiments
A bstractWith their high beam energy and intensity, existing and near-future proton beam dumps provide an excellent opportunity to search for new very weakly coupled particles in the MeV to GeV massExpand
Novel Way to Search for Light Dark Matter in Lepton Beam-Dump Experiments.
A novel mechanism to produce and detect light dark matter in experiments making use of GeV electrons (and positrons) impinging on a thick target (beam dump) is proposed. The positron-rich environmentExpand
The PADME experiment at LNF
Massive photon-like particles are predicted in many extensions of the Standard Model. They have interactions similar to the photon, are vector bosons, and can be produced together with photons. TheExpand
Search for neutral metastable penetrating particles produced in the SLAC beam dump.
A search was made for neutral objects which might be produced by 20-GeV electrons incident on the SLAC beam dump, penetrate the downstream natural shielding, and decay upstream of an electromagneticExpand
Light dark matter searches with positrons
We discuss two complementary strategies to search for light dark matter (LDM) exploiting the positron beam possibly available in the future at Jefferson Laboratory. LDM is a new compelling hypothesisExpand
New limits on hidden photons from past electron beam dumps
Hidden sectors with light extra U(1) gauge bosons, so-called hidden photons, have recently attracted some attention because they are a common feature of physics beyond the Standard Model like stringExpand
