New names inPhanerogamae 2
@article{Holub2008NewNI, title={New names inPhanerogamae 2}, author={Josef Holub}, journal={Folia Geobotanica et Phytotaxonomica}, year={2008}, volume={8}, pages={155-179} }
New nomenclatural combinations are proposed, necessitated mostly by the adoption of a narrower concept of the generic classificatory unit or, in some cases, by necessary changes of the taxonomic rank in several taxa. Explanatory comments on the taxonomic and nomenclatural problems are provided in the following genera:AegonychonS. F. Gray (Lithospermum L. p.p.),AnemonastrumHolub andAnemonoidesMill. (Anemone L. p.p.),BromopsisFourr. (=Bromus L. p.p.),CalathianaDelarbre (Gentiana L. p.p…

Genome size evolution in holoparasitic Orobanche (Orobanchaceae) and related genera
- Biology
- 2006
In O. Orobanche, genome size evolved more rapidly in earlier stages of its evolution than in later stages, which might be indicative of adaptive radiation, but this hypothesis requires corroboration in the form of genome size estimates on more taxa and accessions.
Pollen morphology and evolution in the genus Orobanche L. s.l. and its allied genera (Orobancheae/Orobanchaceae) in Turkey
- Biology
- 2013
The obtained results support the division of the traditionally circumscribed genus Orobanche sensu lato into two gen- era, Phelipanche and Orobane, and the pollen morphologi- cal features are discussed on the basis of molecular phylogeny of the taxa.

Fruit and seed morphology of the tribe Orobancheae (Orobanchaceae) genera in Turkey and its taxonomic significance
- Biology

Seed and fruit morphology of four genera of Orobanchaceae: Cistanche, Diphelypaea, Orobanche and Phelipanche, native to Turkey, were studied using light and scanning electron microscopy and characters such as seed size, shape and color are useless for identification of the taxa at the species level.
