We obtain new exact solutions to the field equations in the Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet (EGB) modified theory of gravity for a five-dimensional spherically symmetric static matter distribution. By using a coordinate transformation, the study is reduced to the analysis of a single first-order nonlinear differential equation which is an Abel equation of the second kind. Three classes of exact models are generated. The first solution has a constant density and a nonlinear equation-of-state; it contains…
Explicit models for spherical static fluids in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity.
In this research, we explore modifications to the Einstein-Hilbert action by examining exact barotropic distributions in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity (EGB). We consider exact solutions of interior
Generalized spheroidal spacetimes in 5-D Einstein–Maxwell–Gauss–Bonnet gravity
The field equations for static EGBM gravity are obtained and transformed to an equivalent form through a coordinate redefinition. A form for one of the metric potentials that generalizes the
Core-envelope and regular models in Einstein-Maxwell fields
Abstract.New classes of exact solutions which could serve as sources for the Reissner-Nordstrom metric representing the exterior gravitational field of an isolated charged sphere are derived.

We analyze the isothermal property in static fluid spheres within the framework of the modified f(R, T) theory of gravitation. The equation of pressure isotropy of the standard Einstein theory is
Dynamics of radiating stars in the strong gravity regime.
We model the dynamics of a spherically symmetric radiating dynamical star, emitting outgoing null radiation, with three spacetime regions. The local internal atmosphere is a two-component system
The Boulware–Deser class of spacetimes radiates
We establish the result that the standard Boulware–Deser spacetime can radiate. This allows us to model the dynamics of a spherically symmetric radiating dynamical star in five-dimensional
Exploring Physical Properties of Gravitationally Decoupled Anisotropic Solution in 5D Einstein‐Gauss‐Bonnet Gravity
In this paper we present two new classes of solutions describing compact objects within the framework of five‐dimensional Einstein‐Gauss‐Bonnet (EGB) gravity. We employ the Complete Geometric
All conformally flat Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet static metrics
It is known that the standard Schwarzschild interior metric is conformally flat and generates a constant density sphere in any spacetime dimension in Einstein and Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet (EGB) gravity.
Generalised radiating fields in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet gravity
A five-dimensional spherically symmetric generalised radiating field is studied in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet gravity. We assume the matter distribution is an extended Vaidya-like source and the resulting

General Gauss-Bonnet brane cosmology
We consider five-dimensional spacetimes of constant three-dimensional spatial curvature in the presence of a bulk cosmological constant. We find the general solution of such a configuration in the
Charged analogue of Finch-Skea stars
We present solutions to the Einstein–Maxwell system of equations in spherically symmetric gravitational fields for static interior space–times with a specified form of the electric field intensity.
A class of new exact solutions in general relativity
A class of new exact solutions is obtained for spherically symmetric and static configurations by considering a simple relation enu varies as (1+x)n. For each integral value of n the field equations

TLDR
An attempt has been made to construct a scenario which includes a spontaneous compactification and an inflationary epoch followed by a four-dimensional radiation-dominated stage and reveals a rich structure of the theory due to the presence of Gauss-Bonnet terms.
Phase transition and critical phenomenon of AdS black holes in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity
Thermodynamics of phase transition for a black hole in 5D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity with a negative cosmological constant is studied. As the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy is adopted, we find the
String-generated gravity models.
TLDR
It is shown that the supersymmetric string theory model has both flat and anti-de Sitter space as solutions, but that the cosmological branch is unstable, because the graviton becomes a ghost there: the theory solves its owncosmological problem.
Emergent universe scenario in the Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet gravity with dilaton
We obtain cosmological solutions which admit emergent universe (EU) scenario in the framework of Einstein Gauss–Bonnet (GB) gravity coupled with a dilaton field in 4-dimensions. The coupling
Compact models with regular charge distributions
We model a compact relativistic body with anisotropic pressures in the presence of an electric field. The equation of state is barotropic, with a linear relationship between the radial pressure and
Emergent Universe in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Theory
In this work, Emergent Universe scenario has been developed in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet (EGB) theory. The universe is chosen as homogeneous and isotropic FRW model and the matter in the universe has two
