New leupeptin analogues: synthesis and inhibition data.

Abstract

Syntheses of several tripeptide analogues of leupeptin containing C-terminal argininal, lysinal, or ornithinal units are presented. The synthetic analogues were tested as inhibitors of trypsin, plasmin, and kallikrein.
