Carcinoma of the urinary bladder is estimated to account for 61,420 new cases of cancer and 13,060 cancer related deaths in the United States in 2006 [1]. Of these approximately 80% of patients will present with superWcial cancer which can be treated by endoscopic resection with or with out neoadjuvant intravesical chemotherapy.
