Phylogenetic Relationships of a New Genus of Calliopsine Bees from Peru, with a Review of Spinoliella Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae)
ABSTRACT We establish a new genus for an unusual species of Peruvian calliopsine bees (Panurginae: Calliopsini) that was initially reported in the literature as an undescribed species of Spinoliella
Andinopanurgus, a new Andean subgenus of Protandrena (Hymenoptera, Andrenidae)
TLDR
A new subgenus of Protandrena Cockerell from South America, Andinopanurgus Gonzalez & Engel, subgen.
A new species of Andinopanurgus (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae) from high elevations in southern Peru
TLDR
A new species of Andinopanurgus (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae) from high elevations in southern Peru is identified.
A new Stelis (Dolichostelis) from northern Colombia (Hymenoptera: Megachilidae): first records for South America and a synopsis of the bee fauna from the Caribbean region of Colombia
TLDR
A new species of Stelis subgenus Dolichostelis Parker and Bohart is described and illustrated based on females collected in dry forests of the Caribbean region of Colombia, which are the first records of the genus, as currently recognized, for South America.
Taxonomic and biological notes on Andinopanurgus (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae)
Additional taxonomical and biological information on Andinopanurgus Gonzalez & Engel, a recently described subgenus of Protandrena Cockerell occurring at mid- and high elevations (1100–3400 m) in the
A new paracolletine bee from Colombia (Hymenoptera: Colletidae), with an updated checklist of the tropical Andean bee fauna
A new species of the paracolletine genus Lonchopria Vachal, Lonchopria ( Biglossa ) comforti Gonzalez & Engel, new species, from high elevations in the Central Andes of Colombia is described and
A new species of Liphanthus from Peru (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae)
The protandrenine bee genus Liphanthus Reed (Panurginae: Protandrenini) is currently known from Chile and Argentina. Liphanthus ( Melaliphanthus ) cuscoensis Gonzalez, Rasmussen, & Engel, new
Along urbanization sprawl, exotic plants distort native bee (Hymenoptera: Apoidea) assemblages in high elevation Andes ecosystem
TLDR
Despite the landscape not showing an effect over bee richness and abundance, exotic plants did have a significant influence over the native bee assemblage, and Halictidae was the only family that appeared to be favored by an increase in the abundance of exotic plant species.
Incasarus garciai , a new genus and species of panurgine bees from the Peruvian Andes (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae)
TLDR
A new genus and species of protandrenine bees (Andrenidae: Panurginae), which superficially resembles Liphanthus Reed in the narrow pterostigma and gonostylus articulated to the gonocoxite but can be distinguished easily by the combination of two submarginal cells.
NEW SPECIES AND PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN MALES OF NEOTROPICAL CLEPTOBIOTIC STINGLESS BEES (HYMENOPTERA, APIDAE, Lestrimelitta)
TLDR
Three new species of cleptobiotic stingless bees of the genus Lestrimelitta Friese are described and figured and new geographical records and an updated key to species from Central America and northern South America are provided.

A new species of Protandrena Cockerell from Brazil (Hymenoptera, Apidae, Andreninae)*
TLDR
This species is unique within Protandrena for its well-developed pronotal lamella, similar to what is found in Pseudopanurgus and Parapsaenythia, and by its protuberant interantennal area.
