The model of holographic dark energy (HDE) with massive neutrinos and/or dark radiation is investigated in detail. The background and perturbation evolutions in the HDE model are calculated. We employ the PPF approach to overcome the gravity instability difficulty (perturbation divergence of dark energy) led by the equation-of-state parameter $w$ evolving across the phantom divide $w=-1$ in the HDE model with $c<1$. We thus derive the evolutions of density perturbations of various components…

Constraints on active and sterile neutrinos in an interacting dark energy cosmology
We investigate the impacts of dark energy on constraining massive (active/sterile) neutrinos in interacting dark energy (IDE) models by using the current observations. We employ two typical IDE

Holographic dark energy in a universe with spatial curvature and massive neutrinos: a full Markov Chain Monte Carlo exploration
In this paper, we report the results of constraining the holographic dark energy model with spatial curvature and massive neutrinos, based on a Markov Chain Monte Carlo global fit technique. The
Constraints on holographic dark energy from the latest supernovae, galaxy clustering, and cosmic microwave background anisotropy observations
The holographic dark energy model is proposed by Li as an attempt for probing the nature of dark energy within the framework of quantum gravity. The main characteristic of holographic dark energy is

In this work, we constrain the spectral index nt of the primordial gravitational wave power spectrum in a universe with sterile neutrinos by using the Planck temperature data, the WMAP 9-year
Revisiting the holographic dark energy in a non-flat universe: alternative model and cosmological parameter constraints
We propose an alternative model for the holographic dark energy in a non-flat universe. This new model differs from the previous one in that the IR length cutoff $$L$$L is taken to be exactly the

We present precise measurements of the growth rate of cosmic structure for the redshift range 0.1 < z < 0.9, using redshift-space distortions in the galaxy power spectrum of the WiggleZ Dark Energy
Neutrinos help reconcile Planck measurements with both the early and local Universe
In light of the recent BICEP2 B-mode polarization detection, which implies a large inflationary tensor-to-scalar ratio r_{0.05}=0.2^{+0.07}_{-0.05}, we re-examine the evidence for an extra sterile
A new life for sterile neutrinos: resolving inconsistencies using hot dark matter
Within the standard ΛCDM model of cosmology, the recent Planck measurements have shown discrepancies with other observations, e.g., measurements of the current expansion rate H0, the galaxy shear
FIVE-YEAR WILKINSON MICROWAVE ANISOTROPY PROBE * OBSERVATIONS: COSMOLOGICAL INTERPRETATION
The Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) 5-year data provide stringent limits on deviations from the minimal, six-parameter Λ cold dark matter model. We report these limits and use them to
Neutrinos help reconcile Planck measurements with the local universe.
TLDR
Current measurements of the low and high redshift Universe are in tension if the authors restrict ourselves to the standard six-parameter model of flat ΛCDM, and an eV-scale sterile neutrino mass--of interest for short baseline and reactor anomalies--is well within the allowed range.
