Determining the absolute masses of neutrinos is of fundamental importance in particle physics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics. We conjecture that intrinsic mass relations exist between leptons and quarks. Using these relations and neutrino oscillation data, we show that the inverted neutrino mass hierarchy is strongly disfavored and estimate the absolute neutrino masses to be m_{1}=0.21^{+1.70}_{-0.21} \times 10^{-4} {eV}, m_{2}=(8.7 \pm 0.1) \times 10^{-3} {eV}, and m_{3}=(4.9 \pm 0.1…

Explorations of two empirical formulas for fermion masses
Two empirical formulas for the lepton and quark masses (i.e. Kartavtsev’s extended Koide formulas), $$K_l=(\sum _l m_l)/(\sum _l\sqrt{m_l})^2=2/3$$Kl=(∑lml)/(∑lml)2=2/3 and $$K_q=(\sum _q m_q)/(\sum

What do fractals learn us concerning the masses of fundamental particles, of hadrons, and of nuclei? Concerning also disintegration life-times?
The hadron spectroscopy is studied through the use of fractals and discrete scale invariance (DSI) implying log-periodic corrections to continuous scaling. The masses of mesons and baryons, reported
