Indirect immunofluorescence histochemistry and receptor autoradiography were used to study the localization of transmitter-/peptidecontaining neurons and peptide binding sites in the mediobasal hypothalamus in normal rats and in rats treated neonatally with repeated doses of the neurotoxin monosodium-glutamate (MSG).
