Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic disease characterized by persistent synovitis, systemic inflammation, and the presence of autoantibodies. Neuropsychiatric manifestations are quite common in RA, including depression, cognitive dysfunction, behavior changes, spinal cord compression and peripheral nerve involvement.
