Cocaine-induced enhancement of motor activity and extracellular dopamine concentrations exhibits sensitization upon repeated exposure. In this study, the neuroendocrine responses to cocaine were examined following cocaine pretreatment regimens which have been shown to produce behavioral sensitization.
