The present study evaluates the luteal progesterone (P) and LH secretions in 14 patients affected by premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and in 14 asymptomatic controls through the evaluation of their episodic release. PMS was prospectively confirmed in two consecutive menstrual cycles using Moos' Menstrual Distress Questionnaire. A pulsatility study was performed during the luteal phase.
