Networked effects protection tailored to unique naval engagements (NEPTUNE™)

Abstract

This paper briefly discusses how a division of the United States Army's Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) leverages sensor system integration and other technologies to enhance anti-terrorism force protection capabilities in order to support the Warfighter; and how integrated layered threat warning and base protection can addresses the increasing threats from insurgents and piracy and help secure the waterside.
